spoke to gyne registrar about betadine.
aft went to kmc to get cert n got so irritated.
spoke to a chic at kmc, so was ok.
evenin 6 waitin for rounds, hopefully will get to go vapour at night.
vapur was good. lots of faces, friendly too... had a banana shake... old crowd too... but not worth another visit.

2. Spoke to Shevon, so many times thought of her, and finally today spoke to her, by name. 4th floor rounds. And our hands touched.
3. Did a subcuticular stitch without stitches... needed a plastic surgeon for guidance.
4. Assisted  a I&D breast abscess and a cervical LN excision biopsy LA.
5. Found St. Peters Church... nice place.
6. Waz reminded of JIPMER ISEMT... that is the aim.

Success is like climbing a mountain. The higher we climb, the lesser the oxygen.
That is when ppl quit and get back down.
That secret is climbing even with less oxygen.

3) morning and evening saw a good d-lap perforation.

1.Tried a suture removal today in front of chief. Hand shook. WTF. Gonna practice surgery hereon forth.
2. Pratibha got back. 2 yrs senior. WTF.
3. Met Srivatsa and spoka a while. He's seeing 2 clinics for 2 hrs after this. Good to do but completely lost the manipal flow on getting back.
4. Did a rounds for both units. Felt good.
5. Not doing anything productive right now, this is not right. Got to look at the future.
6. Gave a consultation to a isro guy, hernia wit bph, felt good to do it.
7. Watching movie good advice. The guy loses his job and still works a new job and works good while impressing Angie harmon.

early morning got to watch a TLH which was cool.
Then went to Ravi sirs opd, which was d highlight of the day. The dude has parkinsonism and u can see d signs. Just shows how much a surgeons life changes with parkinsons. Got to touch pts n prescribe meds which was exactly wat i needed. 1 female came wit an abscess over flank.
Aft saw 3 more cases of fistulectomy, hernia n perineal abscess with lot of pus.
finally relaxed in evening n had a good nites sleep in duty room.
made new protocols cos learning procedure.
 stood in a elevator wit jay n Sam. Wat tension n silence. A dept like this. So funny.

Sunday break

Sunday got there at 9.
Returned at 2.
Good Change and rest.
Managed OP, Rounds as well as OT, with hints from assisting ppl CS n Pradeep.
Evening 6.30 went to mass at Holy Ghost, which was good, long time.
Kamal hassan management working well, which is good.
For a few months need to be a robot without any feelings, no emotion. Just learn n earn.

6'0 clock Perianal abscess with fistula

Assisted a perianal abscess with low fistula. fistulectomy done, saw granulation tissue. entire procedure with diathermy,
tissue grasped with toothed.
bispeculum used,
badprep, tried to resolve  with wash 10ml syringe and later with bladder wash syringe. and packing with gauze, gauze did not come out, tried sigmoidoscopy but could not find it. So always use peglec prep.
Int sphicter seen very clearly as white structure in the end. contractions also. pushed away during dissection with diathermy blade.
Packed with 4 gauzes covered with soframycin,
